“COUNCIL MUST EXTEND HOMES CONSULTATION” – CRAWLEY OBSERVER – MARCH 18 2020

Dear Editor
Community group Chairman says [“Talk Ifield meeting on plans for 10,000 homes postponed”, Crawley Observer, March 16]:

“We appreciate that local people will be disappointed not to have the opportunity to question and challenge face-to-face the man in charge of Homes England’s controversial housing plans for the West of Ifield, but we find ourselves in exceptional circumstances completely outside our control”

If that is the case, Horsham District Council must not only extend the deadline for comments on its Local Plan, it must postpone the “controversial” West of Ifield plan of this out-of-control developer before a threatened environmental catastrophe becomes a reality.

Yours sincerely
