Start from the Plough and walk towards the Church, then head westwards until the bridge over Ifield Brook is reached.

Turn left immediately after the bridge over a ditch and follow the fence round Ifield Brook Meadows. Pass the plant machinery and walk along steel path and head across the field to the left hand corner of the Bovis development [‘The Maples].

Head into the woods by the Brook until the concrete path is reached. Walk through the development until the junction of Drughorn Way and Rusper Road is reached.

Turn left into Rusper Road, then right into the entrance of Ifield Golf Club. Keep straight until the Drughorn Obelisk is reached. Turn back and follow the footpath through the Hyde and come out at Rusper Road, keeping straight.

Pass Heath Cottage on the right [with red telephone box], turn right into Arthur Road. At end, turn right, and then left into Ifield Mill Pond.

Walk back along Rusper Road and left into Ifield Brook Meadows along a narrow path. Follow the Brook until the Church and Lychgate Cottages are reached – then return to the Plough.
