To mark the first anniversary of the passing of Geraint Thomas of Ifield, a Biodiversity Study* within the ancient Parish will be completed [“Eco study shows Rookwood ‘wrong place for houses'”, WSCT, Aug 27].
 
Over 400 species have been identified and recorded in the west of Ifield area which includes Willoughby Fields [LNR], Ifield Brook Meadows [LGS], Ifield Wood and Ifield Golf Course.
 
Ifield Society’s ‘ramblettes’ will recommence this month, starting with a short walk to Ifield Golf Club this Saturday [Sept 5] – 11am from the Plough [return by 1pm].
