‘ANCIENT HISTORY AND MYSTERY EXHIBITION’ – IFIELD BARN THEATRE – TUESDAY JUNE 21 [SUMMER SOLSTICE] – 1PM TO 10PM – WITH A SUNSET WALK AT 8PM

 

3,500-year-old Bell Barrow Burial Ground between the River Mole and Ifield Brook ?

Ifield’s ‘Ancient History and Mystery’ Exhibition will take place at the Barn Theatre on Tuesday June 21st – 1pm to 10pm.

As part of the Summer Solstice celebrations, there will also be a Sunset Walk during the event – starting at 8pm from the Plough and finishing at 9.30pm.

The primary focus will be on the Celtic Druids and Romans during the Bronze and Iron Ages, including the [possible] discovery of a 3,500-year-old Bell Barrow burial ground, the ancestral significance of the Oak Tree, and a Display Presentation of maps, photos, articles, books and artefacts.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
