AUGUST 3 2022 – “HOMES ENGLAND’S ‘WEST OF IFIELD’ DEVELOPMENT MASTERPLAN HAS NOT, DOES NOT, AND WILL NOT MEET THE NATIONAL STANDARDS REQUIRED BY HISTORIC ENGLAND OR HISTORIC ENGLAND WITHIN THIS ANCIENT PARISH”

It is becoming increasingly clear Homes England’s ‘West of Ifield’ development masterplan has not, does not, and will not meet the national standards required by Historic England or Natural England within this Parish [‘Integrated landscape’, Crawley Observer, July 27] – an ancient area of unique character and heritage which includes a Local Nature Reserve LNR – Willoughby Fields, a Local Green Space LGS – Ifield Brook Meadows, and a Site of Nature Conservation Interest SNCI – Ifield Millpond and Bewbush Water Gardens.

It doesn’t need a new consultation – nor a planning inspector – to tell us that.
