FEBRUARY 7 2024 – “THE HORSHAM LOCAL PLAN IS ONLY WORKABLE IF ‘WEST OF IFIELD’ BECOMES A LOCAL NATURE RESERVE” – RICHARD W. SYMONDS – THE IFIELD SOCIETY

LETTER [UNPUBLISHED] – FEB 8 2024

Dear Editor

The fight is on to save the ancient Parish of Ifield – not just its golf club which Sir John Drughorn apparently gifted to the parishioners after the war [‘Fight stepped up to save golf club’, Sussex World, Feb 7].

There is a growing conviction in the community the Horsham Local Plan is workable only if ‘West of Ifield’ [which includes the golf club and the parish] becomes a Local Nature Reserve.

Yours sincerely

Richard W. Symonds
