FEBRUARY 22 2024 – CALL FOR ‘ECOLOGICAL EMERGENCY’ TO BE DECLARED WEST OF IFIELD – IN THE NATIONAL INTEREST

Crawley Councillor Stephen Pritchard to Richard W. Symonds – 23/02/24

”Labour have been totally consistent with the Labour Group and Crawley Borough Councils opposition to the scheme. Crawley Borough Council have a legal duty to cooperate with Horsham District Council and, as part of this duty, have been working to demonstrate the harm that will be caused, not only to Crawley and the valuable countryside but also to residents within their boundaries. County Council Alison Cornell , Borough Councillors Julian Charatan and Jilly Hart and former Borough Councillor Peter Smith have been front and centre of the campaign to oppose the development. Our Borough Council Candidate for Ifield Benazir Yianni is keen to join the fight should she be elected”
