1. Early planning application expected from Homes England
Possibly as early as July, HE [Homes England] have publicly stated their intention to submit a planning application for WOI [West of Ifield] in 2024, seeking full permission for the link road across the West of Ifield site [and ancient Parish – Ed], a new roundabout on the Charlwood Road, and closure of the Rusper Road, and they will start work on this as soon as possible [presumably when West Sussex County Council [WSCC] Highways grant planning permission. If that permission is not granted by WSCC, surely HE cannot proceed with their masterplan? Ed].
