SATURDAY [JANUARY 4 2025]- NEW YEAR LAUNCH OF THE FRIENDLY DRAGON ‘POP’ [PROTECT-OUR-PARISH] WALKS – 11AM FROM THE PLOUGH IN IFIELD VILLAGE [RETURN BY 1PM

“THE SEPARATE LETTER”

“Next Thursday (16th) would have been the ‘West of Ifield’ Hearing Day. We were all prepared to do battle – SWOI, CPRE, Ifield Society, CBC et al.

“To my mind, HDC and Homes England would have had an utterly disastrous day – the planning inspector saved them from total humiliation by cancelling after three days. The planning inspector has yet to send HDC his “separate letter”. If he ever does send it, I sense it will be more disastrous for HDC and Homes England than if next Thursday took place.

“My guess is the “separate letter” expected from the planning inspector to HDC – if it is ever written – will be a condensed version of what would have been said at the ‘West of Ifield’ Hearing planned for next Thursday [16th] – but cancelled before Christmas

“In other words, the cancelled ‘West of Ifield’ Hearing next Thursday [16th] would have been confirmation the Planning Inspector was right to cancel the Horsham Local Plan Examination after 3 days.

“If we accept the insanity, then the masterplan is rational”
