Crawley Community Awards 2016 – Winner

David Moon, Ifield Society’s Co-founder, was a winner at the Crawley Community Awards at the Hawth on Saturday March 19 2016.

David won his Award in the “Environment” category (for his pivotal contribution in the designation – and protection – of Ifield Brook Meadows as a ‘Local Green Space’).

Crawley Observer reports : “The first award to be given out was in the Environment category. David Moon picked up this award for his work in protection and conservation in the Ifield Brook Meadows. Nominated by Richard Symonds, he has been an inspiration and encouragement to the member of the Ifield Society for the past 15 years taking up the baton of the late James Havers. As a result of the pair’s work, the Meadows are now designated a Local Green Space”
